"It was the best time of times. It was the worst of times. As I stood before the crowd - guitar in hand - I looked at the crowd in utter amusement that they were actually paying attention to us. The same crowd that usually ignores us for being dorks, was now relishing our every word (well, sort of). Our goals as a band for the night were to alienate and piss off the crowd, make tons of noise, and finally get the cops to come; all of which were achieved. We preached of killing the pop queens and boycotting corporate music, while handful after handful of garbage was thrown.Joysticks Preparation During the concert the crowd must have taken it upon themselves to destroy Gregg's yard, for they set a bonfire and threw massive amounts of garbage at us and the house. We were attacked with dead leaves, pretzels, empty pop cans, full pop cans, ice, popcorn, and other handy projectiles. We did our best to avoid the oncoming garbage, while playing our noise. We also played a couple cover songs too. We covered Salt 'n' Pepa's "Push It", "Doogie Howser M.D. Theme", and "The Gremlins Theme". I also did a round of Name That Tune. Some of the selected themes were "Green Acres", "The Addam's Family", and "Hawaii Five-0".
So, the night was a success and I don't feel like saying anymore."
